Mushroom men wii game7/26/2023 That child is Pax, who is the games main protagonist. The Amanita tribe attacks a peaceful utopian tribe of Bolete mushrooms and essentially wipes them out, but not before a single Bolete child escapes the carnage. That’s really where the story takes off, because one of the mushroom tribes are very war-like, and naturally war soon arrives. That same green dust brings sentience unto the fungi population, enabling them to build villages, devise sci-fi contraptions, and of course: create weapons. Nothing happens to the human population so they ignore it, but a green dust blankets all manner of plant life and animals. The plot begins when a glowing green meteorite crashes into the Earth, miniature meteorites breaking off and spreading out everywhere. Right off the bat I want to praise RedFly for the world that they have created, as well as the overall story. So here’s the good stuff, all the things Mushroom Men does beautifully. Let’s get started! (Story spoilers ahead!). Don’t get me wrong, I love this game, but everything has its dull edges and I’m hear to talk about the game as a whole, not just its shiny bits. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for its gameplay or characters, let alone the lack of any character development whatsoever. Anyways, Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars is a 3D platformer action/adventure type game that absolutely NAILS it when it comes to visual design, music, world creation, and overall tone. They’ve developed a few other games that you may have seen in a Walmart game section, so check them out. Never heard of them either? Again, that’s okay, I only know of them because of the Mushroom Men franchise! They are a small, indie game developer based in Austin, Texas. For those who aren’t familiar, Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars, is a game that was released back in 2008 for the Nintendo Wii by indie developer RedFly studios. Never heard of Mushroom Men? That’s okay, no one I personally know have either. I want to start things off with one of the most unique, and creative games I have ever experienced.
